Child Health Education
This is a precious little boy with his favorite toy, a bicycle. Peruvian families appreciate what they have. The boy was quite intrigued with my camera, and I am proud of this photo. Today, UNICEF fights for every child's right to survive and thrive into adulthood. UNICEF is the global authority on children. No other organization has UNICEF's experience, expertise and reach.Every child is born with fundamental human rights: the right to health care and education. The right to be treated equally, and protected from harm. UNICEF is the unifying force that helps build a world where these rights are realized, for every child.Yet today, conflict, disease, exploitation and poor education keep millions of children from reaching their full potential. And when children are held back, so is our world. UNICEF's mission is to create a better world, by advocating for the protection of children's rights. To do this, we bring people together: governments, donors, humanitarian agencies, businesses and children themselves. For every child, health, education, equality, protection. This is what UNICEF does.www.unicef.ca
